In The Name Of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful. اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انْفَطَرَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۱﴾ When the heaven is cleft asunder, ﴾1﴿ وَاِذَا الۡكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۲﴾ When the planets are dispersed, ﴾2﴿ وَاِذَا الۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۳﴾ When the seas are poured forth, ﴾3﴿ وَاِذَا الۡقُبُوۡرُ بُعۡثِرَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۴﴾ And the sepulchres are overturned, ﴾4﴿ عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَاَخَّرَتۡؕ‏ ﴿۵﴾ A soul will know what it hath sent before it and what left behind. ﴾5﴿ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الۡاِنۡسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الۡكَرِيۡمِۙ‏ ﴿۶﴾ O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, ﴾6﴿ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰٮكَ فَعَدَلَـكَۙ‏ ﴿۷﴾ Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? ﴾7﴿ فِىۡۤ اَىِّ صُوۡرَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَؕ‏ ﴿۸﴾ Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. ﴾8﴿ كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ بِالدِّيۡنِۙ‏ ﴿۹﴾ Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. ﴾9﴿ وَاِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحٰـفِظِيۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۱۰﴾ Lo! there are above you guardians, ﴾10﴿ كِرَامًا كَاتِبِيۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۱۱﴾ Generous and recording, ﴾11﴿ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ مَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۲﴾ Who know all that ye do. ﴾12﴿ اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ لَفِىۡ نَعِيۡمٍ‌ۙ‏ ﴿۱۳﴾ Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. ﴾13﴿ وَّاِنَّ الۡفُجَّارَ لَفِىۡ جَحِيۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۱۴﴾ And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; ﴾14﴿ يَّصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ الدِّيۡنِ‏ ﴿۱۵﴾ They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, ﴾15﴿ وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآٮِٕبِيۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۱۶﴾ And will not be absent thence. ﴾16﴿ وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا يَوۡمُ الدِّيۡنِۙ‏ ﴿۱۷﴾ Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! ﴾17﴿ ثُمَّ مَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا يَوۡمُ الدِّيۡنِؕ‏ ﴿۱۸﴾ Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! ﴾18﴿ يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٌ لِّنَفۡسٍ شَيۡـًٔـا‌ؕ وَّالۡاَمۡرُ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلَّهِ‏ ﴿۱۹﴾ A day on which no soul hath power at all for any other soul. Describing the various events on the Day of Resurrection, such as the breaking up of the skies, falling of the stars, eruption of the oceans, among others, it is said that on that day every soul will know what it is being called to account for. The records are being kept by angels, who are noble scribes and know what each person does. No soul will be able to assist another on the Day of Reckoning, and authority will belong to Allaah SWT alone.
